Beer with distinct malt, chocolate and caramel flavors
The Sünner Hircus is a dark malt bock, which is produced in traditional open fermentation using our own well water. Five noble malts from Malzfabrik Weyermann® and three original German hops give the beer its special aroma. Distinct flavors of malt, chocolate and caramel characterize this brew and are expressed through an elegant and creamy finish.
With an alcohol content of 7.2% vol, we start high, but not too high so that the alcohol does not overpower the fine taste, just as the modern beer market wants.

About us:
Since 1830 we have been brewing specialty beers in the traditional open fermentation process using our own well water. With the takeover by the brewery zur Malzmühle in 2022, Mühlen Kölsch is also brewed in Cologne-Kalk in addition to Sünner Kölsch.
We use only the best raw materials in the brewing process for our beers: brewing barley from local cultivation, hops from the famous Hallertau, yeast from our own pure breeding and particularly soft brewing water from our own well.
Regional. Traditional. Consistent. 100% Cologne!
