The new Sünner Cologne Dry Gin in the modern look of Sünner Spirits

After the Sünner Kölsch moved into retail and gastronomy with a completely new brand identity at the beginning of July, the spirits from Sünner will also appear in a more valuable and modern new look from September 1st, 2022. What hasn't changed is the artisan distilling process in Cologne's oldest distillery and the unique taste. With the Cologne Dry Gin , the distillery from Cologne-Kalk is also launching a completely new Mediterranean gin from Cologne.

After three decades, Sünner says goodbye to the majority of its spirits from the jug bottle to the more modern and high-quality bottle with a pronounced shoulder and an individually designed closure. The wooden cork is adorned with the seal " The Oldest Cologne Distillery Since 1830 ", which underlines the long history of the Sünner distillery. With the new metallic-shiny and partly colored labels, a broader target group should be addressed and more attention in the trade should be achieved. In the course of the brand relaunch, a new gin, the Cologne Dry Gin , with 45% vol. introduced alcohol. Like the first gin in Cologne, the Sünner No. 260 , the Cologne Dry Gin is strongly influenced by juniper, but with rosemary, grapefruit and citrus notes it is much more mediterranean.

Unique craftsmanship with proven quality

"With the relaunch of Sünner Spirits, we are presenting a high-quality spirits line consisting of eight products that fully meets our quality standards." says Michael Rosenbaum. "The new design of the bottles reflects the high quality of our spirits and embodies the tradition of Cologne's oldest distillery, paired with a modern touch."

As the oldest and only still producing distillery in Cologne, the Sünner Brauerei still distils the alcohol for its spirits itself using a manual distilling process. Only raw materials from Cologne are used for this: the wheat from Farmer Kleinschmidt in Cologne-Poll and the water from the company's own well in Cologne-Kalk.

The new Sünner Spirits range includes four dry gins , including an alcohol-free botanical , the barrel-aged Korn No.1 , the vodka Colonia , the limoncello and the herbal liqueur " Edelkraut ".
